(Newsletter July 2023)

In June 2023, a delegation from Vietnam visited sunny Copenhagen for in-depth insight into infrastructure and data flows related to the Central Population Register (CPR). The delegation consisted of a broad range of representatives from central governmental institutions of Vietnam, namely the General Statistics Office, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Justice. Besides the office for The Central Population Register, the delegation also met with Digital Hub Denmark, the Danish Health Data Authority and Frederiksberg Municipality. The outcome of the visit seems promising for the upcoming activities within the Strategic Sector Cooperation between Statistics Denmark and the General Statistics Office of Vietnam.
