Event Details
A two-day workshop (14-15 October) will be convened with regional partners and civil society organisations (CSOs) to validate findings from the desk review and stakeholder interviews, and to deepen dialogue on cross-cutting issues in Fiji’s CRVS system.
The purpose of this workshop is to bring together government representatives, technical partners, development agencies, and CSOs to discuss the preliminary gap analysis and explore reform options before the Recommendations Report is finalised.
Sessions will include:
Presentations on preliminary findings from the desk review and toolkit analysis.
Group discussions on equity, access, and digitalisation challenges.
CSO-led dialogue on barriers faced by vulnerable populations in accessing CRVS services.
Question-and-answer sessions to clarify issues and strengthen alignment.
By the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have contributed to refining the key legal and regulatory priorities for reform, providing critical input that will feed into the drafting of the Recommendations Report due at the end of October.
