The upcoming CR8 meeting in Q3 2025 will be the first gathering of South Asia’s civil registration professionals following the Third Ministerial Conference on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific. Building on the Ministerial outcomes and sub-regional forums, the meeting will provide a platform for members to exchange experiences, discuss priorities, and strengthen collaboration as the Asia-Pacific CRVS Decade is extended to 2030.

 Objectives 

The objectives of the 2025 Q3 CR8 meeting are: 

• Update CR8 members on key highlights and follow-up activities from South Asia sub-regional forum, civil registration sectoral forum, and the Third Ministerial Conference on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific
• Share country experiences on building resilience and enhancing inclusivity in CRVS
• Identify priorities for CR8 members for the 2025-2030 extension
